Since pets are unable to maintain their own oral hygiene, it’s important for the vet to check their teeth, usually annually at their vaccination and health check. The most common signs of dental disease are bad breath and yellowish-brown calcified plaque on their teeth, especially the upper ones. At Mt Eden Veterinary clinic, we use the latest Woodpecker brand ultrasonic cleaner, together with polishing of teeth, to remove the plaque from your pet’s teeth, usually under sedation, for greatest comfort.
